Zero
Zero was once euthanasia-listed at the Wichita Animal Shelter simply for being scared — but fear does not define him. Once he feels safe, his true personality shines.
Zero is energetic, affectionate, and incredibly friendly. He’s very food and treat motivated, which makes him eager to learn and bond with his people. He’s cat-friendly, dog-friendly, and kid-friendly (we recommend older kids since he has lots of energy and not much spatial awareness).
Zero requires another confident, playful dog in the home. Having a canine companion has been essential to his growth — he has learned so much from the other dog in his foster home, and it has truly helped him come out of his shell. He thrives with a buddy to play with, learn from, and build confidence alongside.
Be prepared — Zero is a full-contact cuddler. He always wants to be touching you or laying on you, and he can be very pushy about it. In other words… he will absolutely smother you with love. If you’re looking for personal space, he’s not your guy. If you want a shadow who thinks your lap is his forever home, you’ve found him.
Zero is a happy, playful boy who just needed someone to give him a chance. Now he’s ready for a forever home with a built-in best friend and humans who don’t mind being loved on 24/7.
