While Tommy has made friends with smaller female dogs in the past, he thrives best as an only dog. He will need a strong leader to help him build trust, but he has never shown aggression toward smaller dogs or puppies in his former foster home.

Tommy does have a few quirks—like being a little scared of ladders and stacked boxes in tight spaces—but all he does is cower away or keep his distance.
