Sydney’s journey hasn’t been an easy one. In 2020, she was rescued from a hoarding situation along with three other pregnant dogs from her pack. Having grown up with little positive interaction from humans and left to survive outdoors, she is still learning what it means to feel safe and cared for.

Her kennel is her safe haven, and while she can be a bit protective of it, once the door is open and she’s given space, she steps out with quiet courage. Sydney will thrive in a calm, patient home with another dog to help her feel secure and show her the ropes of being a beloved companion.

She’s looking for a foster or adopter who understands that trust takes time and who will find joy in the small victories along the way. Helping Sydney discover love and stability will be as rewarding for you as it is life-changing for her.
