Meet Sunny!
True to her name, Sunny brings warmth and light wherever she goes. She arrived in foster care on 10/5/2025 and has been settling in beautifully. Calm, gentle, and a quick learner, she’s already captured hearts with her sweet nature and love for snuggling close to her people.
Sunny is housebroken, kennel trained, and walks very well on a leash. She knows how to sit and is currently working on come, down, lay down, and stay. She’s an easy, lovable companion who enjoys being near her people and makes wonderful company.
She is dog friendly and has attended daycare a couple of times. While she isn’t particularly playful with other dogs, she’s perfectly content being around them. She hasn’t been officially cat tested yet, but that can be arranged. Because she may have some mild resource guarding tendencies, a home without small dogs may be the best fit for now.
Sunny can be a bit timid when meeting new people, but once she’s comfortable, she becomes a full-on velcro dog—loyal, affectionate, and always ready to brighten your day.
