Slade

Slade may be small compared to our other dogs, and he’s still a bit underweight and shy, but he is starting to warm up. He gets along well with other dogs and doesn’t seem to mind our three cats. Once he bonds with a person, he can be protective, but we are working on that behavior. Slade came from a shelter in Ponca City, where he arrived with a female dog and puppies. The rescue that took them in was unable to take him, leaving him behind as the first on the euthanasia list. We stepped in to foster him, and now he’s looking for his forever home.
