Sadie
Meet Sadie – Loyal, Loving, and Ready for a Second Chance
Sadie was surrendered to the Wichita Animal Shelter and placed on the euthanasia list, but her sweet spirit won over our volunteers, and we couldn’t let her go. She was given up due to incidents involving a toddler, but the situation suggests she was reacting to being jumped on while resting.
Sadie is affectionate, playful, and curious. She loves walks, belly rubs, and being by your side at all times. She quickly bonds with people and thrives on attention, treats, and companionship. While she can be selective with men and needs proper introductions, once she trusts you, she is all in—following you from room to room and resting by your side.
She does have some reactivity to bikes, motorcycles, and loud noises but is easily redirected and eager to please. Sadie is house-trained, was raised as an indoor dog, and does well when left alone.
Now in boarding, she is looking for a foster or forever home where she can enjoy plenty of walks, belly rubs, and love. Could you be the one to give her the happy life she deserves?
