Ruger is a sweet and gentle senior gentleman with a heart full of love. After spending his entire life with his previous owner, circumstances changed when they moved into a care facility. Despite the transition, Ruger has adjusted beautifully to his foster home and continues to show what a well-mannered companion he truly is.

At 9 years old, Ruger still has a playful spirit and a warm, friendly personality. He knows several commands—sit, stay, down, and shake—and is always eager to make new friends, whether they walk on two legs or four.

Like many dogs his age, Ruger has a few lumps and bumps, but they don’t slow him down. He still enjoys being active, especially if it involves rolling in the grass or spending time with people and other pets. Ruger would thrive in a home where he can enjoy companionship, a soft spot to nap, and plenty of love for the rest of his golden years.
