Rowlf - MEDICAL HOLD

This handsome guy is a stray at the city shelter euth listed labeled rescue only for medical. He reportedly has a ruptured right cranial cruciate ligament (CCL).  After we got him to the vet, it was found that he didn't have torn CCL but has luxating patella in both knees, and the overall compensation is causing an issue with his hips.  He is unfortunately positive for heartworm.as well.  

Since being in foster care, Rowlf has been nothing but AMAZING!! He’s very well mannered, loving, such a sweetheart.. and a very good BOY! I honestly think he is the perfect dog. I feel like I’m the lucky one to have been paired with him.

He will be going through some surgeries for his hips and knees, and heart worm treatments. I’m very excited for him to get started with his procedures and for him to start healing. 
We go on short walks(he’s nudging me right now because he wants to go). He likes toys and throws them up in the air at times. We take our meds together every morning and every night. He loves to just lay out on the deck and enjoy the breeze. He’s so chill.. and thats why we get along so well. 

I found out right away that he does NOT like baths!!! .. We finally both gave up and agreed on a sponge bath. He still hasn’t had a bath but we have an appointment tomorrow afternoon to get a wash and dry. I think I am the only one who is looking forward to this.
