Meet Raina – A Resilient and Sweet Soul Looking for Her Forever Home

Raina’s journey began during a stormy week in Wichita when she was living outside at an industrial business, braving the elements on her own. Thankfully, a kind-hearted rescuer stepped in and gave her the chance she needed to find safety and comfort.

Now spayed, vaccinated, and settling into a loving foster home, Raina is starting to show her personality. She is playful and gets along well with other dogs, like her foster siblings Pablo and Lt. Dan. She takes corrections well and is learning that her kennel is a safe and cozy space.

Because of her tough start, Raina eats her meals quickly, so a slow feeder is helping her learn to take her time. She’s still a bit nervous when approached suddenly, but with patience and love, she’s making wonderful progress.

Raina is incredibly sweet and gentle. She loves to snuggle, and there’s nothing more heartwarming than seeing her curled up and sleeping in her foster mom’s lap. Raina is finally warm, safe, and cared for, and she’ll never have to fend for herself again.
