Poppie

Meet Poppie—the resilient girl who spent over a week dodging traffic, surviving thunderstorms, and outsmarting every would-be rescuer from Riverside to Seneca & Kellogg. Through pouring rain and busy roads, she kept moving—scared, alone, and unsure who to trust.

Countless people tried to help, and the Beast Crew was watching and searching… but Poppie always stayed just out of reach.

Then, on Memorial Day, her luck finally changed. We saw a post that she’d been spotted in Riverside—just as we were finishing dinner in Delano. Minutes later, another update came in: she was at the dog park just up the street! We rushed over—and there she was, happily playing with other pups in the fenced-in area. A few treats and gentle chin scratches later, she was leashed up and safe.

Now, Poppie is ready for the next chapter—but she needs a foster home to help her get there.
