MJ

Meet MJ! An 8 month old shepherd mix who adores his people and dog friends alike. He’s learning all about how to live in a home and picks up on new things very quickly. He’s a smart boy and is small for his breed!

MJ still has lots of growing to do, which means he will need someone patient and understanding to help him become the best boy he can be. He wants to please his people and loves his scratches and cuddle time. A game of ball or a good wrestle with his foster dog siblings are his favorite things to do, but he’s learning how to walk well on a leash, too! He’s a little fearful of new things in his environment, so walks are still overwhelming for him, but he’s learning to relax and enjoy smelling all the smells! With consistency and calm, confident owners/dog friends, he’ll be a confident pup and a great running buddy in no time!

MJ is looking for someone who can give him play time and snuggles each day. Someone who understands shepherds and would be willing to dedicate time to his training to set him up for success.

He would do best in a family with older kids who know how to treat dogs with respect and with a dog friend who can match his energy.
