Mildred

Mildred is a gentle, resilient girl who has already come a long way since coming into care. She is dog friendly, but would do best with a calm, respectful canine companion who understands personal space.

Mildred is currently heartworm positive and is on medication as she begins her treatment plan. Due to her age and current health, she is not spayed yet, with a veterinary exception in place. When she first arrived, Mildred was extremely underweight, but with proper care she has already gained healthy weight in just a few short weeks—a true testament to her strength and will to thrive.

She is currently in boarding and would love the chance to rest and continue healing in a home environment. If you think Mildred could be a good fit for your home, please consider applying to foster or adopt her today.

Please note:  Mildred will be undergoing HW Treatment that can take a few months and has to be kept low activity.  Adopters will be considered during this time with this in mind.  They can also opt to wait until the treatment is completed.
