Mercedes
Here’s what we’ve learned about this lovable pup:
-
She doesn’t need to be the dominant dog in the group, and she absolutely loves to play with smaller dogs. She has plenty of energy and sometimes needs a little help knowing when her playmates are ready for a break. She’s a bit more cautious around bigger dogs but still enjoys playing with them. Overall, she would do well in a home with other dogs of any size—maybe just not the tiniest ones.
-
She’s making great progress with kennel manners and is showing a growing desire to be out and about more often.
-
She’s incredibly social and loves to play with both dogs and people. She never turns down a cuddle session, belly rubs, or treats.
-
This girl has energy to spare! She’ll thrive in a home where she gets plenty of playtime and regular exercise. She’s also alert and will happily let you know if someone’s near the fence.
-
She’s still figuring out toys but enjoys gently chewing on her kennel mat from time to time—nothing too intense.
-
So far, she hasn’t shown any signs of resource guarding food or toys, which is a great sign for future training and sharing.
-
We’ll find out how she feels about car rides when she visits the vet this Thursday!
One of the sweetest things about her is how she loves to gently press her head against yours and gaze into your eyes while soaking up your love and attention.
She’s welcome to stay with us as long as she needs—we absolutely adore her!
