Lumi

Meet Lumi 

Lumi’s name means snow, and it fits her story perfectly. She was found on a stranger’s porch during a snowstorm on January 24th, and she’s been melting hearts ever since.

She may seem shy for a few seconds at first, but that melts away almost instantly — especially if pets are offered. Her preferred introduction? Rolling right onto her back and asking for belly rubs like she’s known you forever.

Once Lumi decides you’re safe, she’s extremely affectionate, endlessly loving, and very much a lap dog (personal space is optional in her world). She’s playful, happy, and always ready to be wherever her people are.

Lumi is potty trained and kennel trained, does great with all dogs, and absolutely loves to play. She’s still a puppy, so she has a bit of a mischievous streak — especially when food is involved. Counter surfing is her one naughty habit, but honestly, she’s pretty proud of it.

At around 32 lbs at 6 months old, Lumi is expected to stay a nice medium size, similar to her brother Kuura. Her breed is unknown, but her personality is 100% lovable.

If you’re looking for a snuggly, playful, snow-storm survivor who wants nothing more than to be your shadow (and your lap), Lumi might just be your girl.
