Luka's journey to becoming a Beauty is one of resilience and second chances. After being left behind when his previous owners moved away, this handsome boy has shown everyone what a truly wonderful companion he can be.

Luka is a well-mannered pup who is potty trained, kennel trained, walks beautifully on a leash, and listens well to his people. He's currently thriving in a foster home, where we're continuing to learn more about his personality and needs. One thing is certain—he is incredibly sweet and has been friendly with everyone he meets, including children.

If you're looking for an active companion, Luka may be your perfect match! He loves to run and would make an excellent jogging or exercise partner.

Luka has spent time around other dogs, but he has shown some resource-guarding behaviors. Because of this, he would do best as an only dog, or with experienced adopters who are willing and able to properly manage these behaviors in a multi-dog household. He can also be reactive toward dogs through fences, so a home with a privacy fence would likely help him feel more comfortable and secure.

Luka previously lived with a cat and may be able to do so again with a slow, thoughtful introduction.
