Meet Juniper, a gentle soul with a story that tugs at the heartstrings.

In October 2023, Juniper and several other dogs were rescued from a heartbreaking situation after their owner passed away, leaving them alone on a property near a busy highway. The owner had become overwhelmed with the number of animals, and the dogs were left undersocialized and scared. It took hours to bring them all to safety, with Juniper being the most frightened and the last to be captured. Since then, she’s been patiently waiting for her chance to shine while in boarding.

At around a year old, Juniper is a shy and cautious girl who has made progress in her familiar surroundings. She’s still getting the hang of enjoying walks and can be startled by unexpected sights and sounds. However, beneath her timidity lies a sweet, affectionate pup who leans in for pets and loves playing with her doggy friends at daycare.  She will require a 6' fence in her future home to keep her safe.

Juniper is looking for a foster or forever home with someone patient, kind, and understanding to help her build confidence and discover that the world isn’t so scary.
