Jensen

Meet Jensen! This handsome little lovebug is about a year old and ready for a fresh start. He was rescued just in time—caught on the day of a snowstorm—and after serving his stray hold, he’s now looking for a place to truly call home.

Jensen is still learning to trust new situations. He can be a bit nervous at first and may bark to let you know he’s unsure, but with patience and time, his personality will shine through. He’s kennel trained, though he does whine a bit when first crated. House training is a work in progress—he was doing great but still has occasional setbacks.

He has done wonderfully playing with a small dog and previously ran with big dogs as a stray. He doesn’t seem too interested in the outdoor cats, so he may be cat-friendly as well. One thing he hasn’t shown any desire to do is jump fences—he’s been perfectly content with a five-foot chain.

Jensen is a sweet pup who just needs a little patience and understanding to feel secure. If you're willing to give him the time and love he deserves, he will be a loyal and loving companion.
