Meet Joey!

Joey is a big, lovable goofball who just wants to be near his people. He’ll happily snuggle on the couch and follow you from room to room. Despite his size, he’s been a perfect house guest — no accidents and sleeps quietly in his kennel (though he needs a little coaxing to go in).

He loves other dogs, shows no food or toy aggression, and is curious but respectful of cats. Joey is gentle with kids and friendly with everyone he meets. He’s scared of the vacuum and cold weather, and his leash manners still need work — he’s a strong boy!

Yes, there’s lots of drool, and his foster keeps a rag close. Joey also has allergies that affect his skin and eyes, plus a few lumps and sores being treated.

This big baby is learning he’s safe and loved — and he’s ready to share all that love with a forever family of his own.
