Greta
Greta came from a hoarding situation with several other dogs, and was living outdoors, neglected, malnourished, and suffering from multiple infections. For the past couple of months, Greta has started to learn what it is like to be a Beauty, living indoors with a warm bed, routine meals, treats, and toys.
Greta is still shy around people, but doesn't mind if you sit with her and give her pets. She learned potty training very quickly and does not have any accidents in the house or in her kennel. She occasionally enjoys playing with toys or chewing on a bone, but mostly she just loves to laze around and observe, so she is pretty low energy and low maintenance.
Greta is dog friendly and would do best in a home with another dog to help her feel more comfortable and to continue to show her the ropes of being a dog in her new home. She will need an owner who is patient with her while she continues to slowly adjust to her new life, and learn that not all people are scary.
If you are looking for another dog to add to your calm home, and want a small girl with low energy, Greta is the girl for you!
Due to her fear and flight risk, Greta will require a home with another dog and a secure fenced in backyard.
