Frak

HELLO! My name’s Frak. Let me tell you about how I’m the bravest little boy there is!

To say I have trust issues is an understatement. But my foster mom and dad are working really hard to make me feel safe and helping me understand how nice it is to be petted and loved.

I’ve met some of my foster siblings, they are ok, but the two big ones really scare me. I’ve been giving them some little warnings to make sure they won’t sniff me too much. There is one of the littler siblings that is really really nice. She lets me sniff at her and when I go outside she lets me follow her around. Speaking of outside, I like going out there to do my “business”, and am working on getting on a schedule so I can always go out to…”ahem…relieve myself”.

To help me work on building my confidence I have this fun playpen in the living room that I get to be in so I don’t miss any of the family action in the evening. It’s been pretty cool. I feel comfortable enough with my foster mom, that I have even let her put me on the couch so I can burrow under some blankets next to her. That is AWESOME. I really want to like my foster dad and am working on letting him pet me, but I still get really scared and hide in a corner sometimes when he is talking to me.

I still have a LOT more to figure out, and am still scared of a lot of things, but I’m trying to trust and really like learning to be a pampered pup. It’s a lot of fun!

Frak will require another dog in the home to show him the ropes and help him feel secure.
