Dudley

Dudley, or Studley Dudley or Dudders, is a super friendly, active boy looking for his forever family.

Dudley has been boarding for a while now. He was adopted and lived with his family for quite some time. Unfortunately he was no longer able to get along with the older, much smaller dog in the home and sadley was returned to boarding.

Dudley is such a loving and fun middle-aged boy. He really likes to get his exercise - jogging/walking, playing with a frisbee/balls. As active as he likes to be - he really likes to snuggle as well. He is super loyal to his people. He's had many adventures with his boarding buddy and rides great in the car. He keeps a clean kennel and knows all of his commands.

He is great with people of all ages and does well in public. He's attended many events and has never been reactive to people or other dogs. However, he does have high prey drive. Because of this, Dudley needs to be the only animal in the home.

He can have random food aggression at meal times - but feeding him in a separate room works and for treats or toys he doesn’t guard at all. He does fine with a 4 foot fence - never has tried to jump. He does have quite a high prey drive and has tried to go UNDER to get at a Cat or opossum outside the fence. Most of his behaviors can be corrected easily with a quick squirt of a spray bottle. Dudley needs to be the only dog in the home.
