Dewy
Dewy was in the shelter on the euthanasia list but is now in foster with Beauties! She originally passed evals to transfer to the humane society but she has a large patch of missing hair on her back and was therefore euth listed. According to their notes, she was starting to stress out and her behavior became inconsistent. The shelter can be a scary place.
Dewy gives kisses and is very sweeet. She loves to ride in the truck and is very good. She loves pup cups and an occasional French fry. She relies on her chosen dog friends and human to make her feel comfortable.
Dewy leash walks well accept for some pulling. She goes on walks with me daily and is anxious to get outside each time, When walking on the leash she would love to visit everyone, any age. She is doing better with passing dogs on the street and behind fences with a "leave it" command. She is people friendly but dog selective. She is very fond of my big dog, and another big foster dog that I had but, doesn't get along with my smaller resident dogs so it's a crate rotate kind of thing.
Dewy has had several seizures but it has slowed. The vet feels it is epileptic in origin but no testing has been done and she is not on medication due to the infrequency. The hairloss area she has on her back is smaller than when I got her, but vet says it won't be growing back anymore. She is great in the kennel with no accidents or whining, but is fearful.
She is able to climb a 4.5 foot chain link fence. It should be a privacy fence to keep her in.
