Butters

Butters is a laid-back, easygoing guy who enjoys the simple things—lounging on the couch, chewing on a good bone, or watching the world go by. He has a calm, lower-energy personality that makes him a great fit for a relaxed home.

He is kennel trained and does very well when left alone, often choosing to sleep in his kennel or on the couch. He’s fed twice a day separately from other dogs and has great overall house manners. While he enjoys walks and may pull a bit at first, he settles in nicely. He does have a slight limp in his right front leg, so shorter, easy walks are best, but it doesn’t slow him down much.

Butters is a social boy who loves people and does well with other dogs and even cats. He’s been around kids at events and has done well, though he currently lives in a low-traffic home. He can sometimes be a little possessive over toys with other dogs, but it’s easily corrected.

He’s fairly independent but still enjoys attention, often coming by for pets before heading off to relax, play with a toy, or look out the window. He also enjoys spending time outside and loves going for car rides.
