Black Jack

Hi I'm Blackjack!  FM says I would do best in a structured home, with a family that enjoys the outdoors, a medium size or larger adult dog sibling that can show me how to dog. I'm great with other dogs, and all people big and small. FM says I would probably be good with cats too since I'm a sweet boy.

Favorite activity: Running! Lots of it!

Favorite food: Chicken

Favorite treat: Three Dog Bakery Buscuits

Favorite toy: Stuffed crab or my tug rope

Favorite place to be: Playing in the backyard

Favorite bad habit: Chewing on stuff

Favorite excitement: Howling when I hear sirens

Favorite person: My foster mom and The Pet Butlers worker that visits weekly. I go flying out the door to play when I see her in the backyard.

Notes:

Kennel trained: Yes, if longer than 8-9 hrs I may need a potty break. I will whine to let you know.

Jumping on people: working on it. Has improved.

Commands: Sit, Kennel, Down

Leash: Has improved but still needs work

Kids: A little too big, strong and excited for littles (toddlers) but I am kind to them

Cats: Unknown but neighbors outdoor cat was roaming nearby and he showed no aggression, just curiosity.

Dogs: I'm good with all other dogs, but because I don't realize my size I make small senior dogs nervous. I would love another dog my size to play with.

Fun fact: I'm a goof ball. My tongue is always hanging out.
