Autumn (female)
Autumn is a gentle, thoughtful girl who is searching for a patient and loving home to call her own. While we don’t know much about her earliest months, we do know that she was found abandoned in a park with a litter of puppies when she was around 10 weeks old. Despite her rough start, Autumn is a smart and resilient pup who is slowly learning what it means to feel safe.
She enjoys the simple joys in life—chew toys, mealtime, and playing in the backyard. Autumn is still building trust with humans and can be a bit shy at first, so she will thrive with a family that understands her need for patience, consistency, and gentle encouragement as she continues to come out of her shell.
Autumn is kennel trained and about 75% potty trained. She is not yet leash trained, and her foster family is working with her to help her feel more comfortable and confident on a leash. She truly shines around other dogs and is very much a “dog’s dog,” so she will require a home with at least one playful canine companion. She would also do well in a home with cats.
With time, love, and a calm environment, Autumn has the potential to blossom into a wonderful and devoted companion. If you’re willing to go slow and build a bond at her pace, Autumn just might be the perfect addition to your family.
