Meet Allie: The Smart and Sweet Lab Mix in Search of Love! 

Allie is a bright and lovable lab mix who initially passed evaluations in the shelter but became fearful and reactive in that environment. Now in the care of Beauties, she is looking for a foster or forever home where she can truly thrive! 

This clever girl is extremely smart and learns new tricks quickly, especially when treats are involved! She already knows commands like sit, lay down, shake (on either paw!), and speaks on command. We’ve even discovered that she can climb up on playground equipment! Allie walks pretty well on a leash, and with some dedicated training, she’s learning not to pull her handler along.

Allie is a true pack animal and will shower her future family with love and loyalty! She does have some “stranger danger” tendencies but will remember you instantly after just a few meetings, so patience and understanding are key. She thrives in calm environments, and going slow seems to work best for her.

While she does have a small barrier issue and can be protective of her food around new people, Allie is a sweetheart at heart. If you keep her in a kennel, just open the gate, and she’ll come out on her own!
