Alder

Meet Alder.  This resilient little guy has already been through so much in his young life. Alder was found after being hit by a car, with his devoted mama, Aspen, standing guard over him until help arrived. Thanks to a caring Good Samaritan, Alder was scooped up to safety and given the second chance he so deserved.

Now that he’s healing and settling in, Alder is truly starting to blossom. He loves his dog friends and absolutely thrives in their company. Meeting new people can be a little scary for him at first, and he may bark initially when introductions are new—but with patience and gentle reassurance, he quickly warms up and shows his sweet, sensitive nature.

To help build his confidence, Alder attends daycare once a week, and it’s been making a wonderful difference. With the right home that understands his gentle spirit and gives him time to feel safe, Alder will make a loyal and loving companion.
