Soldier

Soldier is a true survivor with the softest heart. He came to us critically ill but never lost his trust in people—and today, he’s healthy enough and ready for his forever home. Soldier is incredibly gentle, affectionate, and loves naps, belly rubs, and all the attention you can give. He does well with most cats, avoids dogs rather than reacting, and is wonderful with children and adults. Because of a past jaw injury and dental extractions, Soldier permanently wears his tongue out—an adorable feature that comes with sweet wet kisses and the occasional slobber. He’ll need constant access to fresh water and an adopter who stays on top of routine vet care, as he can be more prone to infections.
