Don't let her tiny size fool you—Peppercorn has strength beyond measure! This petite little lady came to Beauties & Beasts with an old injury and, heartbreakingly, had also been shot. After consultations with two veterinarians and multiple rounds of pain medication, it became clear that the kindest path forward was to amputate her injured leg. Her surgery on March 21 gave her a fresh start, and she hasn't looked back since. Today, Peppercorn is fully healed and gets around beautifully. She doesn't let having three legs slow her down one bit! Whether she's finding the perfect sunny spot for an afternoon nap or soaking up all the pets you have to offer, she's a happy, content little girl. At just 6½ pounds, Peppercorn is delightfully petite—but don't tell her that when it's mealtime! This girl has a great appetite and never misses a meal. She's also a litter box superstar and has wonderful house manners. Peppercorn loves people and is happiest lounging nearby, soaking up pets while purring almost nonstop. She isn't a fan of being carried around, but she's always happy to accept affection with all four... well, three paws on the ground. She does well with dogs and kids, making her a wonderful addition to many families. When it comes to other cats, she's a bit more selective and would appreciate slow introductions to see if they're a good match.
