Patriot-Hospice

How can the world be so cruel to this sweet creature and he still wants to be kind and be loving? Patriot is a lesson to us all on compassion, forgiveness, and perseverance. Patriot is an 8-year old boy who is such a sweetheart and loves to be a lap kitty who doesn't stop purring—despite coming into our care matted, muddy, and covered in burs. With his sweet demeanor but unkept appearance, we can only assume one of two things happened: 1. He was abandoned by his former "owner" or 2. Because he was never neutered, he ran off chasing the ladies. Either way, this lover boy found himself alone and on the streets where he unfortunately ended up with FIV.
