Leopold-HOSPICE SPONSOR NEEDED

Hello my name is Leopold! Let me tell you a little about me and my journey with Beauties...when I first came to care I was in a lot of pain because I had severe urinary crystals that was causing me to keep getting blocked so that I could not urinate. It was not getting better so the wonderful vet at elpaso said I needed to have pu surgery. They had to remove all of my male parts and give me a hole so I could urinate again. Everything was looking great and I thought I was on the up and up then we discovered I have a heart condition that causes my body to form blood clots and could kill me at anytime. My foster Mom also noticed that my eye started getting a lot of blood spots in the iris so we went back to the vets again. They discovered thatI have cancer in my eye. Due to my heart condition I am not a candidate for surgery to remove my eye. I'm taking it day by day, getting all the great snacks, love and attention I can handle! Thankfully I have a loving foster family that will stay with me. I take meds twice a day to help control my heart condition and keep the fluid from building up in my lungs and around my heart. I also take a nasty tasting blood thinner to try and help keep the blood clots from forming. My foster Mom discovered that if she wraps that nasty pill in a salmon flavored pill pocket I can eat it right out of her hand and never have to taste it! She mixes my meds in a Bisque packet for the morning meds and a broth packet for the evening meds. They taste great and I am happy to take my meds every day!. Due to Leopolds medical conditions he will remain in our care in Hospice.
