Fox Conch
Fox Conch — Our Little Fighter
Of the three tiny survivors we pulled from a construction site, Fox Conch was the one who scared us the most. He and his siblings were discovered after a construction worker arrived at his work site and heard meowing coming from the back of his truck. Somewhere underneath the tools, debris and construction supplies were three tiny kittens. When we arrived, they were cold and limp. We scooped them up and turned the heat in the car as high as it would go and began rubbing their tiny bodies, trying desperately to restore warmth and blood flow. Slowly, we began seeing signs of life. All three battled fading kitten syndrome on and off for weeks, but Fox Conch was the sickest. There were times when we truly weren't sure this little boy was going to make it.
But Fox Conch had other plans. While his siblings are busy conquering the world at full kitten speed, Fox Conch tends to be a little more laid back and aware of what’s happening around him. He loves being held, cuddled and made to feel safe and secure. There’s something especially sweet about holding the tiny kitten you once weren't sure would survive and feeling him relax in your arms.
He fought incredibly hard for the chance to have a life.
