Rudolph
Rudolph is a handsome boy who has been living in boarding for quite some time! He is in search of his perfect foster or forever home. He doesn't exactly see eye to eye with felines, but Rudolph is friendly with other dogs! Independent yet fond of human company, he's just a guy who knows what he wants.
In boarding and during walks, Rudolph displays a more serious demeanor, as if he's on a mission. However, once he's away from those settings, his true personality shines. He thoroughly enjoys walks and loves the freedom of playtime in the yard. He LOVES car rides, like he lives for them, but can be a bit of a clown in the car. When it comes to affection, Rudolph likes to set the terms -- kind of like a cat!
Equipped with basic commands like "look at me," "sit," "lay down," "shake," and "stay," Rudolph is an intelligent companion, though he may exhibit some stubbornness from time to time. It's worth noting that he has struggled with nipping in moments of excitement. For Rudolph, a confident leader is a must, as he may attempt to try and be the boss otherwise. Therefore, he's best suited for an adult-only household.
Rudolph does have an issue with his trachea which requires lifelong meds, and he must always be walked using a harness or harness lead (not collar + leash) to diminish the pressure on his trachea/neck.
If you're looking for a charming yet spirited companion, Rudolph might just be the perfect match for you!
