Juniper
Juniper was one of several dogs who came into our care in October 2023, their owner sadly had passed away and they were left alone on a property. It was a sad situation as the owner had gotten in over his head with the number of animals and they were all undersocial which complicated matters further. They were near a busy highway and needed help. It took several hours but we were able to capture them all and get them to safety. Juniper was the most scared and was the last one to be caught, and she has been in boarding ever since.
Juniper is about a year old and is still a very shy and scared girl, but she has become more comfortable in the familiar environment of boarding. She is still learning that walks are fun and can be jumpy with the unpredictable sights and sounds while on walks. Though skittish, she is described as a sweet girl who is affectionate and will lean into pets. Juniper also enjoys playing with her friends during doggy daycare.
Juniper will need someone who is patient and understanding as she works to overcome her fears and learn the world isn't so scary. She deserves a foster home where she can get more one-on-one attention and learn how amazing a home life can be!
