Clarence

Meet Clarence, aka Clare Bear, a handsome, smart, goofy Pit Mix who has been waiting far too long for a home of his own.  Clarence came to Beauties in December 2022 after a difficult start. Since then, he has spent much of his time in boarding, watching other dogs find their families while he continues to wait for his turn.

Clarence is dog-friendly with the right match and especially enjoys female dogs. Dominant or overly energetic male dogs aren’t really his style. He is also cat-friendly and would do best with older children due to some resource guarding.

Clarence loves going for walks, playing with his stuffies, and most of all, treats! He is highly food motivated, which is a great way to win him over. New people can make him nervous at first, but with patient introductions and a few treats, he warms up and lets his silly, wiggly personality shine.

What Clarence needs most is someone willing to give him the time and patience to feel safe and understood. In return, he’ll give you a loyal, goofy, treat-loving, stuffie-obsessed companion who has so much love to give.

Clarence has waited long enough. He’s ready for someone to finally choose him and give Clarence the home he deserves.
