Clarence

Clarence is a handsome, smart guy who will need a strong leader to help him be his best self! He is a go-getter and loves going for walks!  He has some underlying fear and stranger danger, but with proper introductions and leadership (and treats!), he can warm up to new people quickly and show his nerdy, wiggly, happy personality! He has shown signs of resource guarding so no young kids for Sir Clarence!  He is dog selective and while he prefers female dogs, he gets along well with some males as long as they are not dominant or overly hyper. 

Clarence came to Beauties in December 2022. He had been surrendered to animal control, his intake photo showed a skinny dog tethered to a porch. �� He was in a hall that had been exposed to kennel cough and was only given a couple hours to find placement or he would be euthanized. We hadn't met him, we knew absolutely nothing about him, but we had a foster who was willing to give him a chance. He didn't end up being a good fit there so he went to boarding where he has been waiting ever since! We'd really love to find an experienced foster to get him out of the kennel environment and help work with him.
