Bellamy

Bellamy is a beautiful 47-pound Pit mix with plenty of zoomies, kisses, and adventures left to give. She is a true people-lover who seems to think everyone she meets is her new best friend. She especially loves kids and happily soaks up all the affection and attention they are willing to give. Bellamy is currently in boarding and looking for a foster or forever home where she can finally relax, feel safe, and be someone’s beloved girl.

Bellamy is affectionate, outgoing, and always ready to hand out kisses. She does wonderfully at events, is incredibly photogenic, and is an excellent car rider, making her a great companion for outings and road trips. She enjoys walks and has the energy to keep up on longer strolls or even a run. Give her a bone and she will happily savor it with tiny nibbles for as long as possible. She even has some pretty strong opinions about which fruits are worthy of being treats.

Bellamy needs to be the only pet in her home. She can be sensitive around other dogs and has a strong prey drive toward cats and small animals. She needs a family who will respect those boundaries, give her space from other animals, and help her feel comfortable and confident while out on walks. A secure 6-foot privacy fence is required.

Bellamy originally came to Beauties after reports that she had been living in a shed off an alleyway. Although she was microchipped, no one came forward to claim her. Despite her past and the time she has spent waiting, Bellamy remains an affectionate, devoted, and fun-loving girl with so much love to give.

Bellamy doesn't need a perfect person. She needs her person — someone who understands her boundaries, appreciates her big personality, and will give her the stable, loving life she deserves. Whether through fostering or adoption, Bellamy is ready to leave boarding behind and finally know what it feels like to be home.
