Meet Helen: The Sweet Survivor! Helen's journey began as a stray trapped on a golf course, and when she arrived at the Wichita Animal Shelter, she was understandably upset and angry at the world. Time was ticking away for her on death row, but fate had other plans! Thanks to our dedicated team, we were able to bring Helen to safety, giving her the chance to heal and decompress in a loving environment. Though she may need a little time to adjust, Helen is a sweetheart at heart! She adores the company of her humans and loves curling up on bed covers at night, keeping you cozy and warm. Helen thrives in a calm, quiet home where she can be the center of attention—no competing for affection here! This lovely lady prefers to be the only cat in the house, so she can soak up all the love and attention she deserves. She is selective about her feline friends and definitely needs a dog-free environment. Helen would do best with older kids who can respect her boundaries and provide her with the love she craves.
