Rubik's Cube was living in a home with 33 other dogs and he is just a little pup. Unfortunately he was not getting the attention needed for a little boy his age and was in pretty bad shape. He has some minor physical differences but has been given a clean bill of health. His quirks shouldn’t give him an less quality of life to our knowledge. He is available for adoption now!
Rubiks is a spunky little guy. He’s very energetic and playful. He reads social cues well, but is still very much a puppy. He plays fetch and LOVES toys. I haven’t found a toy he doesn’t like yet. He eats in his kennel, and can be a little gaurdy when eating but given his past it’s understandable. He does perfectly fine taking treats and sharing toys. He is learning to take treats and loves hotdog pieces. He’s pretty snuggly when he does finally fall asleep. He is required and will do best in a home with another playful dog. He is doing pretty good with the kennel but isn’t a fan of being left alone yet, hence another dog. He will also bark when he needs to potty so being aware of what he barking for is important. Sometimes it’s a temper tantrum, but sometimes he letting you know it’s time. His kennel training is improving, but for the time being I wouldn’t suggest him to go to an apartment due to him being vocal. He’s doing great with potty training with a pee pad and I think will pick it up quickly once we transition to outdoors! Over all he is smart, silly and very sweet. He’s so loving, and makes you get all the feels…He has an amazing sense of smell, which makes sense with those hunting breeds in him!
