We are just a few hours in, and already I'm in LOVE! He is such a chill boy. Great in the car, loads easily, good with men or women. Currently he is trying to convince me that he is in fact a lap dog, lucky for him I don't mind and love that he's comfortable enough already to fall asleep. We are working on walking on the leash and will do some dog friendly intros over the next few days. He is very low maintenance. He watches hopefully but doesn't beg for food. Super dog friendly. He is a low key. He will follow you from room to room, but doesn't have to be constantly petted or on top of you.
Drake was deemed PDD for an incident in 2018 due to an altercation with the neighbor dog with his buddy. Drake's life was saved a few years ago by another rescue covering his emergency medical care when he was the victim of domestic violence suffering a life threatening gunshot wound. The owner recently lost their home and was unable to keep the boys and sadly they landed on the EUTH list at the Wichita Animal Shelter and needed pulled by a rescue. Due to the PDD label they will need a home outside of Wichita, inside city limits requires a dangerous dog sign to be displayed and registration.
