Count Chockula was a Beast Crew save! He had been living on his own in the woods of Pawnee Park and proving impossible to catch. A resident in the area well known to Beauties for helping rescue a previous Beauty reached out to us for help. The Beast Crew was able to trap him safely and took him to the city shelter to serve his stray hold.
He was so scared in the shelter! No one came for him. Our volunteers visited him daily to help reassure him and our trainer, Randi, was able to interact with him and help him build confidence. Unfortunately he was running out of time and we had to get him out of there and show him what The Good Life feels like.
He is in one of our wonderful foster's home and it will be so heartwarming to watch him bloom and flourish! Due to his timid behavior and the fact that he is unaware of his size, right now Count would be best in a home with older children. He was afraid of the few small children that he has met while on walks.
