Chulo Wulo here. Been chilling in my foster home. My foster ma says I’m the bestest of boys around. I love snuggling with my foster siblings of all shapes and sizes although the little fat one sometimes scares me . I really love snuggling with my foster mom the most, but won’t get on the furniture until she tells me it’s ok. Not to brag but I’m pretty smart too. I know sit, shake, lay down, leave it, am kennel and potty trained too and haven’t had an accident since being here. Stuffies are my weakness however. I really like eating them so ma says I’m “forbidden” from playing with them ever again, what ever that means. I also REALLY like to catch the bunnies in the back yard. I just want to play with them but it makes mom flip out so now she chases them out of the yard before I can go out. Such a buzz kill. She did let me meet a 8 lbs little fluff dog and did just fine with him. If you are looking for a mature gentleman who can also be a jogging buddy please fill out an application. Chulo will require a 6' fence in his adopter's home.
Chulo spent 2 months in the Wichita Animal Shelter. He got loose a few times and this time he scratched an older woman on the leg that led to him being impounded and deemed a potentially dangerous dog. This was a minor incident and we have not seen behaviors from Chulo to make us worry. We saw a sweet boy that was happy to follow commands for a kind word or treat. He is not reactive to any of the other dogs, people or animal control officers he passed by and sweet as could be with the vet staff too. Unfortunately since Chulo was Potential Deamed Dangerous (PDD) he will need to be fostered or adopted outside city limits.
