CJ was an owner surrender that came to us after the owners decided they didn't want a puppy. We didn't want her to end up in the shelter or given away for free and end up in a bad home. One of our volunteers recently lost her nephew tragically and wanted to honor him by naming a rescue dog after him. Once she met CJ with her gorgeous goatee and mustache that reminded her of her nephew and the fact that his birthday is coming up she knew this was the one. CJ is very shy at first, but warms up quickly and loves to snuggle and gives kisses. She rides like a dream in the car and will just sit on your lap and sleep.
