Hi this is Bolt. He is the most handsome of dudes and loves to play. Bolt likes nothing more than to be with people and other doggos of his size. His favorites are walks, toys of all kinds, playing fetch, and going to the dog park. He loves car rides and feeling the wind flapping through his ears. He walks very well with a harness and takes treatos very gently from your hand. He loves to meet people. Plenty of Affection, things to chew on, and a fenced in backyard are a must. We are working on sit (when it doesn't involve food) and kennel up. Bolt is smart and already knows what the harness and leash means when foster mom gets it off the hook. He walks very well in a harness but pulls and gets antsy when the leash is attached to a collar. He is kennel and house trained but will occasionally sneak something soft and fluffy and try to claim it as his.
Bolt is friendly to all ages of children. I have 11 grandkids from age 6 months to 14 years and he's fine with them all. He is also dog friendly, and cat curious but scared of them at the same time. He is non aggressive and non food aggressive. Bolt is the best of Boys and deserves a wonderful home.
Bolt is playful and does have some energy. He needs a backyard to run around in. He is kid friendly (infant on up) Dog friendly to all dogs but enjoys one's around his size that he can run and play with. Does not do well tied to a tether, chain or lead. Does not do well being left in a kennel for long periods of time. I also believe he has a bit of separation anxiety but is getting better with that. It may take him a few days to trust a new family. It took him about 2 weeks before he settled down with his foster. He was also not fed enough but has since gained weight being with his foster and looks healthy now. He needs someone who can help him with his manners when it comes to sniffing around in the kitchen. Sometimes he seems to be continually looking for food.
