Baxter - ADOPTION PENDING
This little guy is adorable. He barks at other people and dogs on the street but we think mostly because he wants to meet them but doesn't know how to do it correctly. Baxter does struggle meeting dogs at first and needs time to warm up before he is okay with them. He minds really well apart from barking at passers by. He’s fully potty trained. Has a lot of energy, but he’s very respectful and not annoying or bothersome when his foster is working on the computer for example. He won't leave your side and doesn’t want to left alone. Baxter needs a home with a fenced in yard to run and play. He has more energy than a walk or run can burn off. Baxter would be best in a 1-2 person household or one without a lot of change in who lives in the home. He needs routine and structure to help him trust and be comfortable in his situation. He does great with his current owners, however it is a blended household. The two older kids come home for periods of time and he gets confused and protective. He is very sweet and loving with the ones that he loves.
