In my short life so far, I have had several challenges. But I have over come each one that has tried to take me out. I lost my brother when I was super little, and I myself was failing to thrive for quite a while. Finally, we got me eating well and putting on weight, so we thought my problems were over. Then my foster sister that I was best buddies with was adopted. They wanted a friend for her, but refused to consider me because I was a boy. So I was separated from her forever. But I found new friends at home. We thought all was well, until I became sick again. After a week of trying to figure out why I had this scary high fever and didn't feel well, it was discovered that I had FIP. Fortunately for me, we keep meds for that on hand just in case. So treatment started as soon as I was diagnosed. Today, I am happy and healthy. I am cured from FIP. You would never be able to tell from looking at me that I was ever sick and almost died twice. I like to play fetch. I like to harass foster mom while she takes a shower. I love kisses. Crinkle toys are the absolute best! I have become a young man who mom says needs to find his forever despite how much they will miss me. I'm skittish in new environments. But I am such a lover, it would be worth a little patience until I settle into a new home.
